PARTICIPATION FOR SOCIAL STARTUPS

1. Becoming a beneficiary of one of our Social Impact startup schemes

You haven't yet started up, but you have a great idea for a social innovation – an idea that should bring about genuine change – and are looking for funding? Then apply now and become a beneficiary of Social Impact Start, Alternative Founders or Social and Founders. Enrollment in the Ready for Finance program is possible as part of the grants process. You get advice and support for the development of your startup through a systematic procedure. This is how you can apply for the startup programs.

2. Going through the Ready for Finance process

Your mentoring in the Ready for Finance program is systematically prepared and carried out:

I. Preparing and contacting. You identify your consultancy requirement within the Social Impact Start program together with the Social Impact head coach and are prepared for the process operations in the Ready for Finance program. Contact is made to a Deutsche Bank employee who has the appropriate expertise in line with your requirement profile.

II. Matching and framing. When the right mentor has been identified for you, an appointment is made so you can get to know each other better, where the form and framework conditions for the cooperation (setting of objectives, frequency of the meetings etc.) are set as appropriate for the task, the available time capacities and preferences.

III. Cooperation. As a rule, a cooperation time of between four and six months is allowed for in a mentoring process. This is only a reference value, however. Longer partnerships are explicitly desirable, shorter cooperations are just as possible.

IV. Spreading and evaluation. For the continuous improvement of the mentoring program, the cooperation between volunteers and social startups is constantly evaluated. To make this program accessible for the broadest possible range of participants, there is an option for presenting successful cooperations as program events.
